Which universities are the partners of ICBM’18?
The Congress is held in partnership with Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, and Maltepe University.
What are the dates of the Congress?
The Congress will take place on November 29 and November 30, 2018. A social event will take place on December 1, 2018. For detailed information about the important dates of the Congress see https://icbm.world/important-dates/
Who can attend the Congress?
Academics, research assistants and graduate students can attend the Congress.
Which faculties can participate in the Congress?
We are inviting “Business Administration”, “Economics”, “Economics and Administrative Sciences”, “Management Sciences” faculty members. Papers on business and marketing issues related to applied sciences are also welcomed. Engineering faculties with the developments in Financial Engineering, Business Engineering or Industrial Engineering are appreciated as well. So we have a large scale of Congress participation possibilities.
Which language should I use to give my presentation at the Congress?
At the Congress, presentations can be made in one of three languages – English, Russian or Turkish. In addition to this, as stated in the presentation templates, an English summary is required for the presentations made in Turkish and Russian. What is the maximum number of authors for one paper?
Each paper can be written by maximum three authors.
Where is the campus of Maltepe University located?
The campus of Maltepe University is located in Marmara Education Village in Büyükbakkalköy district of Maltepe in Istanbul. For the location see https://goo.gl/maps/7ctU1YrBwyF2 (Maps will be added)
What is the location of the Marma Hotel where the Congress is organized?

Is there any fee to participate in the Congress?

What services are included and not included in the Congress participation fee?

Will I be refunded if I cancel my participation in the Congress?
Registration fees for cancellations received on or before 8 November will be refunded. The amount to be refunded is 50% of registration fee. Congress fees will not be refunded for cancellations received after 8 November.
Have all sessions and their chairs already determined?
No, not yet. You can find the main tracks and topics, but sessions and session chairs will be announced at a later date.
What is the dress code for the Congress?
In light of business and marketing spirit of the Congress, we recommend CASUAL business clothes.If you are attending the Gala Night, we recommend you to have a stylish outfit.
Is the Congress schedule available?
Details will be posted on our website as soon as they are confirmed. The full Congress schedule will be available on our website on November 21, 2018.
I just want to attend one day/one session. Is that possible to do?
Individuals wishing to participate in one session must pay the full fee. One day Congress registration is not available.
Is there a PowerPoint template for the presenters, determined by the Congress Committee, to use during their presentation?
All presenters should consult the Congress Website in order to download a PowerPoint template. Usage of the confirmed PowerPoint template is obligatory. Please do not use any template other than the confirmed ones.
Will I receive a Сertificate of attendance?
Сertificate of attendance will be given at the end of the Congress.
I am an overseas participant and need a letter of invitation to receive my visa. What is the procedure?
ICBM will provide letters of invitation upon request to registrants only in the following circumstances:
- Registration must be paid in full and payment should be documented and the copy of the document sent to: email@example.com
- MA/PhD students should send a copy of the student ID/card or any other related document to the above mentioned email address.
